Nate founded Pathway Legal in May 2022 with a mission in mind: to deliver the depth and precision of big-firm legal services in a way that is accessible, personalized and grounded in trust. With over a decade of experience and a background in financial advising, he brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to both business law and estate planning.
His practice focuses on Estate Planning, Business Law, Business Litigation and Probate and Trust Administration. From complex mergers and asset protection to tailored estate strategies, Nate guides clients through high-stakes decisions with clarity and care. Having worked at large and specialized firms, he's reviewed thousands of trusts and business structures, giving him the expertise and confidence to handle almost any legal scenarios.
Nate graduated from Weber State University in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Arts in English. He then moved onto graduate from the University of Oregon School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor. Additionally Nate is also a licensed financial advisor, holding Series 6 and 63 securities certifications as well as life and health insurance licenses. This gives gives him a rare dual perspective on how to provide legal planning with the depth of financial insight that few attorney's can match.
Originally from Davis County, Utah, Nate returned to the area to raise his family and enjoy the beauty of the Wasatch Front. When he's not in the office, Nate love's being outdoors with his family. He's deeply involved in men's mental health advocacy, teaching writing classes as a form of healing and self understanding. He also volunteers at the Ogden homeless shelter with his family, helping feed the homeless. Additionally, Nate provides pro bono estate planning for veterans, first responders, and public servants, offering at least one full estate plan per year at no cost.

Sam joined Pathway Legal in 2024. As a paralegal, she works closely with clients ensuring all their needs are met. She plays a key role in drafting legal documents. coordinating with new business owners and clients, and supporting the firm's smooth day to day operations.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, she helps ensure that language is never a barrier for clients seeking legal guidance.
She enjoys the organizational side of legal work and finds it rewarding to help clients feel less overwhelmed by what can be a complex process. Always eager to learn, she finds the legal field fascinating and appreciates being part of a team that brings peace of mind to clients.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music and relaxing with a good book or building Legos.
